The Company began selling vision plans in Florida as VSP of Florida.
The Company began selling dental plans in Florida as American Dental Plan and in Kentucky as CompDent.
Oral Health Services began offering dental plans in Florida.
David Klock is named President.
The Company acquires Denticare, a Texas-based dental company.
CompDent is acquired and the Company goes public as CompDent Corporation
Texas Dental Plans and Dental Care Plus Management, an Illinois-based dental company, are acquired
American Dental Providers, an Arkansas-based dental company, is acquired
The Company returns to private ownership and purchases a 31-state indemnity insurance license
Oral Health Services and VisionCare Plan are acquired and the Company is renamed CompBenefits Corporation to reflect the broadening of our product portfolio.
Kirk Rothrock named President and Chief Operating Officer.
David Klock retires, remains Chairman, and Kirk Rothrock is named CEO and retains President and COO titles.
