What is CompBenefits?

CompBenefits is a comprehensive dental and vision benefits company with more than five million members. The company has 20 sales and service offices nationwide with almost a thousand employees. CompBenefits' extensive network of dental providers includes more than 10,000 general dentists and specialists nationwide. The company's vision network has more than 16,000 private practice ophthalmologists and optometrists throughout the U.S.

How long has CompBenefits been providing benefits services?

CompBenefits has been providing vision benefit services since 1968 and dental benefit services since 1978.

What type of benefit plans do you offer?

CompBenefits sells a broad portfolio of dental and vision benefit plans. We provide both standard and customized employer and individual plans with state-of-the-art claims processing. Our dental benefits products include dental HMOs, PPOs, Indemnity plans, Discount plans, and "Hybrid" plans that combine the best features of dental HMO and PPO plans.  We also offer group and individual Vision plans.

Who are CompBenefits' clients?

CompBenefits customers can be individuals or employer groups. We are proud of our capabilities to serve small businesses and families who do not have dental and vision benefits from their employers. Because of our emphasis on dental and vision benefit plans, we are able to serve a diverse client base. Our current client list includes: Boeing, Publix Supermarkets, Tupperware, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, The University of Florida, and the states of Illinois, Florida, Missouri, West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

How many providers are in your networks?

CompBenefits' extensive network of dental providers includes more than 10,000 general dentists and specialists nationwide.

Thirty-five percent of all practicing eye care professionals in the United States belong to our VisionCare Plan network. This includes 16,000 private practice ophthalmologists and optometrists.

CompBenefits has 20 sales and service offices nationwide to provide local support to our members. Our corporate headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia.
